The Grand Canyon Model Railroaders host a Mini-Swap meet. Just two hours of trading.

Free Admission and free parking.

The club holds these shows twice a year.

This club used to hold monthly swap meets in Sunnyslope, and they are trying to do something similar. The format is simple: seller set up between 8 and 9AM, then sales from 9 to 11AM. They are planning on doing these mini-swaps twice a year.

The Grand Canyon Model Railroaders also hold the Cactus meets twice a year.

The flyer is unclear about this. . . Sales tables are free, but only club members can sell. However, you can join the club for $35 dues. If you're a past member, you can renew your membership for only $20.

This is a nice little show that doesn't take up the whole day, and some really neat trains show up for sale.

One of the reasons the club is starting these simple shows again is to attract new members. This club is very active in the community and runs toy trains around the city frequently. The members are friendly knowledgable people. If you want to learn more about toy trains, or spend some time running trains on the club's portable layouts, talk to one of the members when you're at the swap meet.
